In My Kitchen August 2017

We only have a few things in our home kitchen this month. We left to fly to Newfoundland on August 5th, but there is a little peak into our Newfoundland kitchen as well. We have been updating our Instagram page regularly while on vacation, if you want to see more you can check that out.

I hope you are enjoying Newfoundland. A place i have always wanted to go; i will get there some day. yum to the dark chocolate. and those whales- glorious. it is humpback season here so they are all on their way up and down the eastern coast of australia. in fact, a big one knocked into a boat on the weekend and the people got injured. tho not badly. watch out for whales :=)

It’s been fun watching your vacation on Instagram too! So much fresh fish looks delicious. And of course dark chocolate.

Hi Lori, thanks for sharing on the fishing trip – nothing beat freshly caught cods to cook!

Great photos of your fishing trip, Lori, and the fish fry afterwards. I’m sure it tasted as fantastic as it looks! Loved your bruschetta and flatbread, too, and assortment of chocolates. Yes to needing chocolate in the kitchen. 🙂 What’s in the Big Mary sandwich? It made me want one looking at it! The colors in your whale photo (not to mention the whale!) are outstanding.

  5. Hi Lori, Great fishing trip memories. As seafood lover there’s nothing like cooking fresh catch of the day!

  6. Love everything about this post!

  7. Mad Dog says:

That’s the best kind of fish and chips!
